DOOBY DOOBY MOO by Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin

 – What Is Duck Up To Now? –

Duck reads Farmer Brown’s newspaper each morning. But one morning Framer Brown opens his paper and is sure the animals are up to something since there is a large square cut from his newspaper. Duck has spotted a talent show with the 1st place prize being a trampoline. The animals immediately begin practicing various songs, with the exception of the pigs who want to perform an interpretive dance. Farmer Brown senses that the animals are up to no good, so he’s afraid to leave them on the farm when he heads to the County Fair. Loading them into the back of his pickup, he takes off for the fair. (Of course, Duck is in the cab of the truck.) So far things are going just as Duck hoped they might. Now if they can somehow win 1st place.

Cons: None

Pros: Another creative caper for the animals. Kids will love to sing along with the animals. Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, performed by the cows is more like: Dooby, dooby, dooby moo.  / Dooby moo, moo, moo, moo, moo.
