– Frog Is Sure That Getting Big Just Won’t Work For Him –
Fans of the first picture book I Don’t Want To Be A Frog will love this book also. Frog won’t eat his dinner because he doesn’t want to be big. His father gives him examples of why he might want to grow but frog assures him he’s great being small because he has big friends who can help him if necessary. Pig overhears the discussion and also tries to convince frog that being big isn’t so bad. Frog still doesn’t want to get big until pig says one important thing.
The story is told in dialog bubbles.
Pros: Fun book about self-acceptance. The illustrations are bright and sure to bring on smiles.
