According to Otter Keeper, the name Otter calls his owner, no one really knows where Otter came from. He just showed up on Otter Keeper’s doorstep one day. At first, Otter was a bit afraid of living in the house, but Otter Keeper had a teddy bear too. Soon Otter was very happy living with Otter Keeper and Teddy. But on Monday when Otter Keeper left for work Otter and Teddy were sad. Bored, Otter decides to do some reading and open a business: a toast restaurant. But somehow the restaurant doesn’t go exactly as Otter had planned. This is the first book in a series about Otter. But it only takes one book to realize this is a series to follow.

Cons:  None

Pros:  This is an original story with laugh-out-loud illustrations. The details, along with the storyline make it impossible not to love Otter.
